The celebration of the Eucharist each Sunday is the center of parish life. It is the source of our identity and our strength to go out on mission to the world and it is the summit of our spiritual lives toward which all of life is directed. Every gathering, every meeting, every activity at the parish should be an encounter with the Church that points us toward the Sunday Eucharist by drawing us into some reflection and silence followed by some sharing with another. In even the most mundane activities of every day we recognize that our story is connected to the story of the Great Tradition of the Church revealed in the Holy Scriptures and lived by the Church through the centuries.
