Personnel and Procedures
The Policy for the Safety of Children in Matters of Sexual Abuse: Revised 2007, reiterated the Diocesan Policy that a Review Board of lay persons with a variety of backgrounds is appointed by the Bishop to serve in a consultative and advisory capacity. That Board advised the Bishop as to all aspects of sexual abuse of minors.
Click to download information about the Diocesan Review Board.In the Diocese of Cleveland, a response team handles all aspects involved in dealing with anyone who has been affected personally by the sex abuse crisis. The team works together to make sure all who are in need of assistance are cared for both individually and on a parish and educational level.
