We the Catholic parish of Sacred Heart Chapel, rooted in the Hispanic

culture, have become a diverse community. Empowered by the Holy Spirit

and bound to one another in Jesus Christ, we are centered in the Eucharist

and Formed by the Gospel. In the joyful spirit of “fiesta” we seek to

preserve, celebrate and pass on from generation to generation the rich faith

and culture of our Hispanic heritage. We hold the family as sacred, honoring

both young and old.

Once strangers, we seek to welcome the stranger among us. Having known

want, we commit to reach out to those in need. Being blessed, we offer our

gifts and talents in service. We seek to share the Good News of the Gospel

and to become the very presence of the Risen Christ.

Nosotros, la parroquia Católica de la Capilla del Sagrado Corazón, cimentada

en la cultura Hispana, hemos llegado a ser una comunidad diversa.

Inspirados por el Espíritu Santo y vinculados en Cristo Jesús, estamos

centrados en la Eucaristía y formados por el Evangelio. En el espíritu

gozoso de “fiesta” buscamos preservar, celebrar, y transmitir de generación

a generación la rica fe y cultura de nuestra herencia Hispana. Conservamos

la familia como sagrada, honrando a jóvenes y mayores.

Siendo una vez forasteros, queremos dar la bienvenida a todo forastero.

Habiendo sufrido necesidad, nos comprometemos a ayudar a los

necesitados. Siendo bendecidos, ponemos nuestros dones y talentos al

servicio de los demás. Buscamos compartir la buena nueva del Evangelio y

ser la misma presencia de Cristo Resucitado.
